Grading a 12 Question Test

On a 12 question test, each question is worth 8.33 points. Here's what you need to get each letter grade:

  • A: at least 12 out of 12 (94%)
  • B: at least 11 out of 12 (84%)
  • C: at least 9 out of 12 (74%)
  • D: at least 8 out of 12 (64%)
  • F: below 8 out of 12

A score of 8 or above out of 12 is typically considered passing (60% or higher).
