Grading a 16 Question Test

On a 16 question test, each question is worth 6.25 points. Here's what you need to get each letter grade:

  • A: at least 16 out of 16 (94%)
  • B: at least 14 out of 16 (84%)
  • C: at least 12 out of 16 (74%)
  • D: at least 11 out of 16 (64%)
  • F: below 10 out of 16

A score of 10 or above out of 16 is typically considered passing (60% or higher).
