On a 42 question test, each question is worth 2.38 points. Here's what you need to get each letter grade:

  • A: at least 40 out of 42 (94%)
  • B: at least 36 out of 42 (84%)
  • C: at least 32 out of 42 (74%)
  • D: at least 27 out of 42 (64%)
  • F: below 26 out of 42

A score of 26 or above out of 42 is typically considered passing (60% or higher).
